Hyve Solutions Builds Two Nevada AI Server Factories
Hyve Solutions will build two manufacturing campuses in Nevada to expand domestic production of AI servers, bringing critical hardware supply chains closer to American data centers.

On August 19, 2026, Hyve Solutions announced plans to construct two advanced manufacturing campuses in Nevada to expand domestic production of AI compute, storage, and networking systems. The expansion, which is expected to create approximately 3,000 jobs, includes a flagship 624,000-square-foot facility in Reno and a second site in North Las Vegas. Hyve, a subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, designs and builds custom rack-scale systems for major cloud providers, integrating hardware from partners like NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Broadcom, Micron, Seagate, Western Digital, Sandisk, Vertiv, and Chenbro.
The project secured crucial tax abatements from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development on August 5, 2026. For the Reno campus, the state approved $3,672,117 in tax abatements. In exchange, Hyve committed to creating 974 jobs within two years at an average hourly wage of $32.10, investing $31,420,000 in capital equipment, and generating $59,334,238 in new tax revenue. The North Las Vegas site received $1,030,430 in abatements, with commitments to create 240 jobs at an average hourly wage of $38.55, invest $8,702,285 in capital equipment, and generate $19,448,537 in new taxes over a 10-year period.
These two facilities represent the largest job-creating projects in a broader $17,633,378 state abatement package designed to draw $152,991,437 in capital equipment investments and create 2,159 jobs over five years. By establishing these sites, Hyve aims to onshore capital-intensive electronics manufacturing, particularly surface-mount technology lines that place chips onto printed circuit boards. Jerry Kagele, president of Hyve Solutions, noted that the expansion allows the company to add high-tech manufacturing work "here in the United States" while building long-term careers. Hiring is already underway to meet the two-year operational commitments.
